Figurative Tradition

Robin Johnson trained in traditional figuration and narration at the Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, California. She attended classes at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, and has participated in and led numerous figure drawing and painting groups and courses across the country including Loyola Marymount University and Koplin del Rio Gallery in Los Angeles, the Savannah College of Art & Design, Savannah, GA, and Cosumnes River College, Sacramento, CA. Her early mentors and faculty have included artists: Brad Coleman, Darlene Campbell, Jonathan Burke, Pamela Wilson, Wes Christiansen, Scott Hess, and Patty Wickman.
